rosie alexander

Rosie Alexander is a London based illustrator, comic artist, and podcaster. Her work has an enthusiastic focus on character design, erotica, and electric vibrancy.

Coining the phrase #neongush when describing her illustrations, she has gained traction online with her sensual pieces, helping to open doors and break taboos with viewer censorship.

Her work is punk when employing artistic rules, in method, and in practice. Chasing a colour palette that gives the most energy and personal inspiration.

Having studied at Norwich University College of the Arts (Fine Art) and Cambridge School of Art (Illustration and Animation), the biggest growth she discovered was in the endless hours spent diving into her deepest interests from any and every nook, uninhibited. The world has many rooms to discover, explore and learn from.

Co-host, creator, and editor on Drunk Art Review Podcast, you can tune in to listen to Rosie prattle on about amazing, weird and beautiful art, current and historical.

ben driver (he/him)

Artist, curator and mental health advocate, Ben has held a longstanding presence within the local arts scene. Working with a number of projects including IO Radio and PhotoEast, Ben has nurtured a community mindset which promotes the use of creativity as a vehicle for greater inclusivity.

As an artist his work explores the connections between sexuality, masculinity and mental health. It is his way of navigating ideas of self and the way he is perceived by the world; as a queer man, as a non-masculine male, as an individual whose mental health is in flux. Always experimenting with form his work takes shape as zines, collage, photography, illustration, writing and painting, often combining multiple mediums within a single piece.

Exploring the role of curator led Ben to forming Guy Cry Club CIC, a space where masculinity and mental health is explored through art. Understanding how powerful art can be in communicating our inner world Guy Cry Club CIC is an invitation for everyone to be part of a creative dialogue which brings together valuable perspectives across the intersections of maleness, mental health, and identity.

As Founder/Director of Guy Cry Club CIC Ben has achieved a vast amount since its inception including: Speaking at the University of Cambridge, appearances on BBC News Online and BBC Radio, collaborating with organisations such as Suffolk Archives, Suffolk Pride, MANUP?, Sassify Zine and Led Creatives to host workshops and events, as well as curating online galleries, artist features and publications.
